IT'S ALMOST BISBEE TIME!

I hope everyone is doing very well as the tournaments draw near. Both October events are shaping up great, and there’s still a ton of fish in Cabo!

In the past couple of weeks, Cabo lightened their Covid restrictions one more level and are planning to go even further in the coming weeks. This means that all of the local businesses can operate a bit more freely and they’re more than ready to see all of you!

We are continuing to work with all of the Mexican government agencies to ensure we have a safe and healthy environment at all of our functions. We’ll be filling you in on exactly what this means as we get it all nailed down.

PLEASE PRE-REGISTER

One thing we know for sure is that personal contact at registration is going to be substantially limited this year, so we’d like to ask everyone to pre-register as much as possible prior to registration day and make any team changes and additions that you can ahead of time. This will streamline the process and make it more enjoyable for all.

New Tournament Location:

For both October tournaments, registration and weigh-ins will take place at the API Cruise Ship Pier where we have had the Black & Blue’s awards banquet the past few years. Nothing will take place at the Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza.

Registration will take place at the base of the pier and the weigh station is right next to this area on the edge of the malecon. This is actually a much more convenient location than before for you to bring us your winning fish.

Our Bisbee’s Fish & Wildlife Conservation Fund’s fundraiser this year will be an on-line silent auction that will run during both tournaments. This is a hugely important event for our Conservation Fund and we’ll be giving you details shortly on how to go on-line and download the auction ap so you can bid and be notified of bids throughout the week. We’ve got some fantastic prizes this year that I’m sure you’ll love to win.

Auction proceeds benefit the Green Scholarship Program that provides underprivileged Los Cabos students with college scholarship opportunities, the Bisbee’s revolutionary new RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Tagging Program and our Nkwe Tactical Training Academy wildlife anti-poaching program in South Africa.
