Hello Bisbee anglers,

We hope all of you are enjoying a great summer. We’re looking forward to seeing many of you this week as we begin our first Bisbee’s Tournament of the year at the Buenavista Beach Resort, on the web at www.HotelBuenaVista.com. For those who can’t be with us, we’ll do our best to have updates at http://www.bisbees.com/ after each day of fishing.

As for Los Cabos, we want to let you know that this year’s Cabo host facility is the recently renovated Costa Real Resort, formerly Plaza Las Glorias. The resort is under new ownership and they’re continuing to make great improvements to the property for us all to enjoy after a long day on the water. The resort is graciously offering a special angler/guest room rate to all Bisbee participants. You can make your reservations by calling (800) 543-7556. The reservation code to get the discount is “Bisbee”.

As of now, the entry levels in all three of our tournaments are ahead of last year’s levels on this date. And the new Bertram Yachts-MarineMax $5,000 Daily Jackpot category already has over a dozen entries. If you’re interested in this one, please try to get in before October so you don’t have to be running around Cabo with all of that cash in your pockets.

We are very happy with the responses we received from our survey last month. Thank you very much! We’ve already begun to implement your suggestions, and will continue with our total commitment to improve the overall quality of the tournaments. We may organize them but THEY BELONG TO YOU.

SCHEDULE:
The Black & Blue is October 25th – 29th (fishing days 26th, 27th & 28th). All of the tournament functions will take place at the beautiful Puerto Paraiso Entertainment Plaza. We’ll be updating you with new special events as they develop.

The Bisbee’s Los Cabos Offshore Tournament will be held October 21st – 23rd. It will be held again in conjunction with the Pete Lopiccola Billfish Tournament. You can fish in both tournaments simultaneously, providing you a chance to win even more prizes. In addition to fishing for marlin, tuna and dorado, you’ll be "Fishing For A Cure" since the proceeds go to Cancer research. Registration will be held at the Costa Real Resort.

GOLF TOURNAMENT
Don’t miss the Bisbee’s Los Cabos Open Golf Championship. It will take place on Saturday before the Black & Blue awards banquet at the Raven Golf Club. You can get complete tournament details and pre-register for the tournament online at www.GolfinMexico.net/bisbee.
